Ridley Scott returns to space 33 years after his game-changing xenomorph nightmare, Alien. Set several years before the Nostromo's ill-fated voyage, Prometheus follows a team of explorers on a perilous mission to the farthest reaches of the universe to discover mankind's origins on Earth. Led by scientists Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and Charlie Holloway the team land on a mysterious alien planet in search of answers. What they discover not only threatens their mission, but also may come to have a profound impact on the entire human race.
