A Christmas miracle happened when he made a wish and his best (and only) childhood friend - his cherished teddy bear named Ted - came to life. He grew up with Ted by his side but now, as an adult, John finds himself drifting away from his old friend. The time comes when he must make a choice between his new girlfriend, Lori Collins, and his faithful but extremely inappropriate teddy bear.
